Hi! My name is Adelina, and I'm the Owner & Photographer behind the lens at Lucky Lens Photography.

I'm a Bastrop, Texas based portrait photographer with 12 years of experience capturing memorable moments and creating stunning galleries for my clients.

 

When I was a child, I was obsessed with disposable cameras. One year, I was gifted a cheap Kodak digital camera. I became the household photographer, capturing my family and childhood friends, then making scrapbooks from the prints. I always enjoyed having the ability to freeze time with the click of the shutter. After I invested the first paychecks I earned into my first professional camera model, it became clear that photographing portraits, nature, and landscapes was where my passion was. Although my camera has changed throughout the years, it has always been my most prized possession.

 

When I turned 21, I decided to work for the largest, most well known photography company in the country. I quickly moved up the ranks into management and worked there for almost a decade. I worked full-time during the week, and focused on my personal photography business in the evening and on the weekends. I then decided to leave the company and focus on my personal photography business full-time, and I haven't looked back since.

 

People often ask me, "How did you come up with the name Lucky Lens?". I've been so grateful and fortunate to be trusted to capture my client's most memorable life events, families growing throughout the years, and traveling to amazing places across the country. I'd consider myself pretty lucky for these opportunities.
